ChairmanMr. Gerard is a Special Advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Milstein Properties and the New York Private Bank & Trust Co., Chairman of the Board of Directors of Supply Pro, Inc. and a Director and Member of the Investment Committee of Azimuth Investment Management, LLC, which manages a diversified fund of hedge funds. He is also the Managing Member of Gerard Partners, LLC, an advisory and investment firm.
Mr. Gerard served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Azimuth from its formation until December 31, 2010 and as President of its previously affiliated entities since February 2005. Prior to joining Azimuth, he served in executive capacities at: Tosco Corporation; Seminole Fertilizer Corporation; Atlantic Fertilizer & Chemical Corp.; Phosphate Industries, Inc.; Gulf Atlantic Corp.; Tendler, Beretz Associates, Ltd.; and The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A.
Mr. Gerard holds a B.A. from Harvard College and attended the Advanced Management Program at the European Institute of Business Administration. Mr. Gerard has also engaged in private study with an Oxford tutor.
Mr. Gerard is a Director and the Secretary of the Wellness Foundation of East Hampton, was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cardigan Mountain School and a Member of the Advisory Council of The Conservation Trust of Puerto Rico.
